TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
